Sermon by Pastor Alvin O. Berkley
Leviticus 9:1-6

As strange as it may seem, God uses people to minister to people. Don’t get me wrong—God does much of His work on His own. The creation of the world; the saving of a soul; and 10,000 other things without our knowing. In a strange way He incorporates saved sinners to minister to other saved sinners. God uses people as part of His ministry team.

“It came to pass on the eighth day that Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel. And he said to Aaron, “Take for yourself a young bull as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.

And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying, ‘Take a kid of the goats as a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering, also a bull and a ram as peace offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord, and a grain offering mixed with oil; for today the Lord will appear to you.’

” So they brought what Moses commanded before the tabernacle of meeting. And all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord. Then Moses said, “This is the thing which the Lord commanded you to do, and the glory of the Lord will appear to you.”

The Resurrection Story performed by the Mime Ministry
Resurrection Sunday Sermon by Pastor Alvin O. Berkley
Romans 1:1-7

The cause for celebration today is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Resurrection is not reviving. Reviving is renewed life; reviving something that was almost dead. Resurrection is giving life to that which was dead. Notice verse 4, Jesus declared that he was the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness. How? By the resurrection from the dead.

Sermon by Pastor Alvin O. Berkley
Leviticus 8:1-13

God lays own standard and qualifications for His priests. These are the commands that God gave to Moses to consecrate the priests, Aaron and his sons.
You may be thinking to yourself, “But Pastor I am not a priest.”

Not in the order of an Old Testament Priests but according to the New Testament you are. There are similarities that can be applied to our calling as priests and ministers in the New Covenant.

“And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, the anointing oil, a bull as the sin offering, two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread; and gather all the congregation together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.”

So Moses did as the Lord commanded him. And the congregation was gathered together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. And Moses said to the congregation, “This is what the Lord commanded to be done.” Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water. And he put the tunic on him, girded him with the sash, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him; and he girded him with the intricately woven band of the ephod, and with it tied the ephod on him.

Then he put the breastplate on him, and he put the Urim and the Thummim in the breastplate. And he put the turban on his head. Also on the turban, on its front, he put the golden plate, the holy crown, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Also Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them. He sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times, anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its base, to consecrate them. And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him.

Then Moses brought Aaron’s sons and put tunics on them, girded them with sashes, and put hats on them, as the Lord had commanded Moses.”

Sermon by Pastor Alvin O. Berkley
Leviticus 1:1-13

The question that I put forth in a previous sermon was this: How can sinful man have fellowship or communion with a Holy God?

In Leviticus God instituted a system of sacrifice and worship whereby His people could stay in fellowship with Him. Here God spells out a whole system of sacrifices which are familiar to Jewish people.

Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.”
