Women’s Fellowship “Shut-In”
Friday July 31 – Saturday August 1
All ladies are invited to a “Shut-In” here at the church, beginning Friday July 31 at 7:30 PM and continuing through to the next morning. We’re asking each adult to bring a young lady with you .
The event begins with a movie, Ruth from Sight and Sound, followed by a time of Prayer & Praise. Fellowship breakfast is served in the morning.
The Book of Ruth: A Pledge of Loyalty & Faith
The Book of Ruth tells the story of Naomi, a widow from Bethlehem, and her Moabite daughter-in-law, Ruth, who remains loyal to her after the death of their husbands. Together, they return to Bethlehem, where Ruth meets Boaz, a relative of Naomi, and ultimately marries him, leading to the birth of Obed, the grandfather of King David.
