LORRAINE SHIPLEY
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
GC-C (Certified Grief Counselor)

Lorraine Shipley began her career in medical-surgical Nursing
and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh. She worked primarily as a therapist and in leadership roles in community mental health and drug
and alcohol agencies. Currently Lorraine works as a Grief Therapist at The Grace Wellness Center and as Director of Bereavement and Chaplain Services at Grane Hospice Care.

Lorraine is married with five adult children and attends First Evangelical Free Church in McKeesport. She enjoys motorcycle
riding, running, kayaking, martial arts, reading and spending time with
family and friends.


CATRICE
MOFFETT

Master’s Degree in both School Psychology and Developmental Psychology.

Catrice Moffett joined the Highmark Caring Place team in Pittsburgh as Program Manager in 2024. Catrice’s enthusiasm is passion for helping others. She holds a Master’s Degree in both School Psychology and Developmental Psychology. She is also a Licensed Behavioral Specialist in Pennsylvania and has significant interest in how behaviors communicate grief experiences in children.

Catrice swears by laughter being the best type of medicine, while music and singing feeds the soul.
